| What are your main strengths in media? | During my time at City of Westminster I have gained a valuable amount of knowledge within Creative Media Production. Within Media I believe my main strengths have to be in the practical sector. Things such as using software to edit, using the DSLR camera, using my imagination to create unique camera shots and angles, using the correct ruling when using a camera and audio work. |
| What are the main areas you need to work on? | I believe there is always room for improvement. Areas I may need to work on are written work, primary and secondary research, thoroughly going through the work and analyses of findings. I can say that I have improved in these sectors but I will need to strengthen these areas to excel in Media. |
| How ambitious are you? What does this mean to you? | I am strongly determined to use my knowledge in media and use it in applications of different industries. As media is a part of Software and Technology I will be able to alter my profession and apply my media skills in this industry. As I want to create my own invention, I believe my base knowledge will be able to help me kick-start my career. |
| How much do you know about applying to University? How confident are you about this process? | During the process of applying to university I understand that I will need to apply for UCAS. To complete this application, I will need to fill in all my personal details and pick my course. I will also have to use £25 to complete my application. I will also need to create a personal statement displaying my reasoning to apply to university and also express myself in character and uniqueness. I am confident that my grade will be at the highest grade. I am also confident that my tutor will give me a good referral which will help my application. |
| How much do you know about media apprenticeships? How confident are you about this application process for this? | As Apprenticeships are limited, I believe there is only one sector in the media industry for apprenticeship which is Digital Marketing. As I have Creative Media Level 1-3, I believe I will have a better chance of being a successful candidate. |
| How much do you know about media work placements? How confident are you about the application process for these? | I do not have a sufficient amount of knowledge within Media work placement as I do not wish to pursue Media in the future. What I do know is, there are a lot of roles in the media industry such as directing, producing, filming, multi-camera work and etc. |

| What are your main work/education goals for the next 12 months? | I am currently looking for Software Developer/Engineer Apprentice on Degree level. I have applied for a lot of companies and have a few positions open for me. I am still currently trying to find new Apprenticeship as all company’s open their apprenticeships around January. I have applied to company’s such as Sky, BT, Santander, Sainsbury and Unilever. |
